For Sale: N18/231 ‘Nocturne’ € 6,500 ONO Uffa Fox designed, built 1960 P Waters, Appledore, North Devon. In beautiful condition.   Brazilian mahogany on oak frames. In 2011 the deck was replaced by shipwright Jim Walsh (Walsh Boatworks) with Robbin’s Elite Ply. The hull was stripped back to bare wood with some sections of planking replaced where needed. Varnished with 12 coats of Epiphanes Varnish. Flooring replaced with teak 2013.   Alloy mast and boom.   Sails: Cream Dacron main and jib, 2007. Main has 2 slab reef points with battens and sail number. Jib is roller reefed with steel luff.

N18 Spring Challenge at Tamesis Sunday 31/3/2019

Tamesis hosting the N18 Spring Challenge Sunday 31st March 2019 Tamesis Club welcomes all N18-ers (including visitors) for this new event aimed at getting boats out on the water for the beginning of the summer season J Three races are scheduled, starting at 1125 followed by a lunch break then two afternoon races.  Prizegiving with tea (open to all)  Entry Fee for visitors £10.  N18 owners who cannot sail may offer boats on loan. 2018 National 18 Class Championships – update & NOR

West Mersea   Sunday 15 – Friday 20 July 2018 80 years of sailing   1938 – 2018 Welcome to West Mersea and the West Mersea Yacht Club. We are delighted that the National 18’s selected the Blackwater Estuary for their 80th Anniversary National Championship.  The racing will be hosted by the West Mersea Yacht Club, however we are excited to include both the Dabchicks Sailing Club, where we have a longstanding relationship, and the Blackwater sailing club, where this association is new.  Thank you both for your contributions.
