Welcome to the National 18 Class

The Class has evolved a deep history, from the original clinker wooden Uffa Fox ‘Ace’ adopted in 1938, through to our latest iteration, the thoroughly exciting & modern Phil Morrison designed, two or three person, trapeze, dinghy being built by White Formula and formally launched at the 2015 Dinghy Show.

The Class supports a thriving fleet, from the 75+ year old classic woodies through to our latest Morrison design, with an unrivalled history of keen competition and a lively bonhomie amongst the multi generational fleets in clubs around England, Ireland, the Isle of man, Scotland & Wales.

Dear all National 18 sailors.

A reminder that this Satruday 7th January is the Bloody Mary round of the SailJuice Winter Series at Queen Mary Sailing Club (Queen Mary Reservoir, West London). More importantly it is also being used as the 2016 National 18 English Championships ...so for all those involved it's a real chance for double glory!

If you're not taking part do come a long to support. A number of N18s are involved including the holders Odyssey, as well as Hurricane and others.
There will also be some after sailing dinner and drinks fun in and around Teddington, and up in town. So shout if you want to join.
