Tamesis Club – Event heads up….
Dear All (including race officers scheduled for 29th Sept).You will know we have a day of 18 racing scheduled for Sat 29th September at Tamesis. I have agreed with R/C (Sailing) Jim Green that in the absence of a Class Captain, I will co-ordinate the event.I will produce a NoR shortly, but in the meantime I would like to stress that we really do want EVERY TAMESIS NATIONAL 18 ON THE WATER11Please do all you can to arrange your diaries accordingly, and let me know asap that you will be there. If you absolutely cannot, please will you make every effort to get your boat there, even if she is sailed by friends – we can help via the club or class association to join together people and boats.I’m copying this to Claire Davidson, Class Assn Secretary, and will write again to Claire shortly. We will welcome visiting boats. Those who’d like to make a weekend of it are invited to borrow a Laser on Sunday 30th (we will fix) to have a go at the Tammy Laser Barometer (an all-Laser day).
