Brian Wolfe National 18s book – The project began when I found some old scrapbooks of my father Alan Wolfe’s successes with Mistral (106) in winning two National Championships with the first being at Findhorn in 1966 the first occasion that they were hosted there.
Thanks to the hospitality of the Davidson family I was able to visit Findhorn twice during the year to look through the class archives.
The book traces the seventy five year history of the class and how it is has developed over the years and how it now welcomes the new 18′ Prototype. It also includes a yearly report on the national championships and a fairly comprehensive account of the 378 National 18′ boats that were registered. The book is limited edition, numbered and signed.
