FOR SALE “WEIR WOLF” N18/75

Weir Wolf was built in 1950 by Kimber of High Bridge for the Porlock Weir Sailing Club fleet.  Clinker construction, mahogany planking on oak frames. Present owner since 1969. Sailed from the Hill Head Sailing Club until lay up at the end of the 1980’s.  Refurbished in 2016 to fitness standard to sail.  Deck paint in good order – otherwise mahogany hull now needs attention, a scrape and varnish and repaint inside. Also time to absorb moisture and seal the planking and heavy centre board case/keel structure. Some beefing up of this structure by a previous owner is also apparent.
